Privacy Policy

TutorLoop is built for families, so we collect as little as possible and we are mindful that some users are children. This policy explains what we handle and why, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) and the GDPR.

What we process

• The problem you submit. The photo or text of the question is sent to our AI tutor to generate an explanation. Photos are processed transiently to read the problem and are not stored after the explanation is produced.
• Usage counters. We store a signed cookie in your browser to count your free explanations and remember your plan. This is not linked to your name.
• Anonymous analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying metrics (page views, subject, grade) help us improve the product. We do not sell data.
• Email (only if you give it). If you join a waitlist or buy a plan, we keep your email to provide the service and send account-related messages.

Children's data

TutorLoop is intended to be used by a parent, guardian or teacher on a child's behalf. Please do not submit a child's name, photo of their face, or other personal details — only the textbook problem. We do not knowingly build profiles of children.

Payments

Payments are handled by Razorpay (India) and Stripe (global). We never see or store your full card or UPI details — those go directly to the payment processor.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete any personal data we hold about you (such as your email). Email getdeaddictedllc@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
